Prior to her entrée into the Design Industry, Amy taught English Literature at Marlboro High School, Marlboro, New Jersey.
In her early career in the Design Industry, Amy worked for a multi-branch lumber yard company as a kitchen and bath designer, in addition to designing multiple showrooms within the company. Amy is a CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) and CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist).
Amy has served several terms on the Executive Committee of the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s (NKBA) Northern New Jersey Chapter as VP of Endorsed Programs (Academic Relations) and VP of Professional Development.
Amy currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Kitchen & Bath Business (K&BB), a nationally distributed Design & Construction Industry shelter magazine. She also currently serves on the Board of the Virginia Symphony Society of Greater Williamsburg.
Amy holds degrees from Montclair State University and Brookdale College in Lincroft, New Jersey.
Amy lives in Williamsburg with her husband of 15 years, Jim, and their cat LuLu.
